Description

My first adopted character, the beautiful Di-Lua. Original design by :iconbronzehalo: and can be found here: [link]

PICTURE DEDICATED TO: :iconmiss-picc:

She is a Crisaill and you can find out more about the species here: [link] and [link]

She's a laid-back, gentle soul but will rise to the occasion to fiercely protect friends and family. At first she may appear stand-offish but if you are gentle and take your time she can be a loyal friend. Her strong Earth-powers are a force to be reckoned with...

Emmm... critique. Something of the kind.

In the first place I like you ability to devise creatures :)
Yes, I read that original design isn't yours this time, but you made Crisaill character really lifelike anyway.

You're good witn anatomy and posture is absolutely natural. Well-done dynamic is here.
Sparkles are nice but bring a little discord. A wind in the mane and lively pose creates action. But calm shining tilts the mood to static and sedative. My brain is confused a little bit. (First emotion - woo-hoo! Run with the wind! Oh, look, beautiful sparkles! Good to take a break and admire. Waaait a minute! Are we running or what?)
May be it's problem with my perception not with your drawing :D But I suppose this animated shining is better for scene of rest. For running...hmm, sparkles need other means of expressiveness - little trail of light may be? I'm not good with dynamic scenes.

And in conclusion - I like combination of her laid-back temper from description and her strength and power on the drawing.

Ahem. My English - hope it's not very unreadable.
